Introduction
We are a church of the Bible - holding to the evangelical, Christian
faith as revealed in the Scriptures and expressed in the Nicene Creed
and the Evangelical Alliance basis of faith.
We are a church of the Holy Spirit - teaching that all need to
be filled and go on being filled with the Spirit and seeking to grow in
the spiritual gifts and fruit.
We are a baptist church - practising believers' baptism, and holding
to the full participation of all. our members in the government of the
church.

We are a mission-centred church, and our constant priority of taking
theunchanging gospel totoday's world means that we are always willing
to change the way we do things, above all for thesake of the lost.
We are, above all, a Christ-centred church, declaring full salvation
through Christ's death and resurrection, submitting to Christ as the founder
and head of the church, seeking Christ's glory at all times, and looking
forward to Christ's promised return as the judge of the living and the
dead.
This was the basis of faith adopted by Kairos in its founding covenant,
December 1998.
Our core values
Kairos draws on the life of the first Christian community described in
Acts 2: 42-47.
42They
devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to
the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43Everyone was filled
with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles.
44All the believers were together and had everything in common.
45Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone
as he had need. 46Every day they continued to meet together
in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together
with glad and sincere hearts, 47praising God and enjoying the
favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those
who were being saved.
